    1. Oh! Okay. The caramel we use is store bought! (I know, we cheated!) We used the Litehouse brand caramel apple dip but pretty much any caramel will do.......even the caramel ice cream topping would work - it would just be a little thinner! The rest of the recipe is in our blog titled "Apple with Caramel Cream Cheese Dip" - which you can find using the search bar on our blog. Hope that helps!

  6. Where do you purchase the 2 oz. carmel dip for the Apple with Caramel Cream Cheese Dip or could you purchase carmel ice cream topping in a jar or what other alternative could be used?

    1. We bought it at our local Buy-Low grocery store. You can use a large jar of caramel sauce if you can't find the individual ones. You would need ~2 1/2 cups of caramel sauce to make the recipe as written.
The caramel ice cream topping would work just fine - it would just be a little bit thinner.

  8. Hi Jo and Sue, Wow! I am loving exploring all of your recipes (somehow I found you through pininterest I think)I just bought myself a food processor today so I could make the banana icecream (froze bananas last night). It tasted great! I am sometimes a lazy cook so stuff like that is fantastic. I am having a cauliflower/rice inspired dinner tonight. I am loving all the brain explosions!! I'm Australian and some of us halloween but many of us don't (but the shops are pushing it!) I know it's a big holiday in the US and I loved all your cooking - man you guys are awesome. I have stopped eating breads and cereals etc. so a lot of your stuff is great - I can't wait to try other recipes. Just wanted to say you have a fabulous blog and you have a real talent for cooking.
